Internship
Carnegie offers annual internship programs within our Investment Banking and Research department. Our internships last approximately eight weeks, and you will get to participate in live projects and ongoing business from day one. You will be part of a highly skilled team and get the opportunity to develop your financial knowledge with some of the most experienced people in the industry. We offer both summer and winter internship programs. The internship program is our most important recruitment method, and you might get the possibility of permanent employment.
Profile
We are looking for engaged students with analytical skills and a great interest in the financial industry. The Carnegie internship is a unique opportunity for students who have completed at least two years of finance, economics, or other relevant education studies. Your personality, motivation, and drive are equally important to your academic results. You must show a high level of curiosity and eager to learn about the financial markets.
Work assignments
Interns get to participate in real-life projects and will be exposed to a wide range of tasks, such as:
• Analysis of companies and industries
• Preparation of pitch materials and company presentations
• Valuation assessments
• Preparation of prospectuses, sales documents, and other documentation
• Contacts with clients and other advisors
• Compilation and processing of information
The internship recruitment process starts every August with a start date of January and June the following year.
